Log Status Changes

Step-by-step guide on how to log status changes for claims. Stay on top of your claims to maximize efficiency!

  1. First, navigate to the claim that you’d like to change the status on.
  2. Once you have reached the claim’s home screen, you have two different ways to change the status:
    • (a) Options menu options menu icon – Simply select Options, then choose New Activity. This menu has Log Status Change as one of its options.
    • (b) Activity Tab activity – Select the Activity tab at the bottom right of the claim’s home screen. Once here, you will see a log of all the claim’s activities. Select the + icon to add a new activity, and then choose Log Status Change from the list of options.
  3. Once you have selected Log Status Change, now its time to choose which status:
    • On Hold: Waiting on a third party ( Ex: Carrier, Contractor, Engineer, etc..)
    • Needs Re-Inspect: Claim requires another inspection.
    • Ready to Report: Claim had previously been on hold and is now ready to move forward.
    • Canceled: Claim has been canceled.
  4. After you have chosen a status, your status change will be logged as a new activity entry and you will be taken back to the Activity log.
    • You can always delete unwanted status changes by selecting them from the Activity log and than tapping Delete Status Change.
