What are geographical groups?

Geographical groups are a classification system for inspection routing. They’re used to categorize claims by the region they’re located in. This helps optimize routing and makes viewing and grouping claims simple.

Some examples of geographical group categories are:

  • Specific regions of the state
  • Counties
  • Metropolitan areas
  • Outlier claims

The center point of a geographical group is a reference point for identifying the location of each claim within that geographical location.

Examples of center points are:

  • State capitals
  • Heavily populated areas/cities
  • Popular landmarks
  • Regional offices
